Story: This is the story of two downtrodden humans who are both 'Punch-Drunk'! One from too many hits to the head, and one from too many hits to the heart! The boxer (Donny) who after a night of taking a severe beating in the ring, which prematurely ends his once promising career, crosses paths, by chance, with a distraught and beaten down hooker (Dianne) who is about to end her life by jumping off a bridge. Donny realizes what she's about to do, and tries his best to make her understand that life is too precious to just end it all in that manner. He succeeds in talking her down. Afterwards they both come to realize they have a great deal in common, the most obvious fact being that they are both distraught at the hand life has dealt them. What to do then? Find Diane's little girl.. The little girl has been adopted by a drug-addicted mobster's daughter, putting the baby in dire straits, with no doubt its only chance being to have someone rescue it from this tumultuous life of violence and ...
